The Autonomics Clinic
The Autonomics Clinic is a neuro-transformation clinic. We apply autonomics to the treatment of stress-related disorders and increasing human and planetary flourishing. Ideally we do this face-to-face in the Living World, but we also make house calls, and work on Zoom because our clients live around the world.
The clinic works with individuals and groups.
Our work is focused on healing (we consult and treat many autonomic issues that allopathic medicine says cannot be healed). For a list of symptoms that we treat, go here.
We also engage in neuro-transformational coaching work with leaders, visionairies, and change-makers who realize that limitations on the functioning of their deep neurology are inhibiting the fullest expression of their potential. For a list of competencies we help people grow, go here.
We consult with mission-aligned teams to improve organization function, coherence, alignment, and innovation.
(We been invited to work with, train with, presented, or taught through the organizations and publications listed below…)
THE ROLE OF AUTONOMICS IN DAILY LIFE
The general population is extremely un-informed about the degree to which the moment-to-moment functioning of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is THE primary driver of our quality of life. Autonomic dys-regulation happens with varying levels of severity. On one end of the continuum are profoundly debilitating dysautonomias, and severe post-traumatic and complex post-traumatic disorders. These extreme responses compromise everyday quality of life significantly. Yet there is an entire range of autonomic dysfunction that may not even be clinically classified, where the ANS is simply not functioning in an optimal manner. Our research and clinical experience working with tens of thousands of clients suggest that the dynamic experience of well-being is a function of having the ANS in an autonomically coordinated state in 51% of your present moments. This means having the connection system online and available more than half of the time. Most modern people’s connection systems are not available anywhere close to this.
Changing your autonomic composition, which is a result of clearing residual allostatic load: archived incomplete autonomic responses, and the associated neurochemistry residual in the body, as well as increasing the functional availability of your connection system will have direct and obvious transformational effects on your quality of life. We are world-leading experts in facilitating these processes. Our work has been requested by the United Nations, NATO, Fortune 500 companies, elite global leadership and executive coaching firms, and some of the finest medical schools in the world.
Hearth Science, Inc. may have the only accurate in vivo map of autonomic physiology in the world.
Gabriel’s prior experience includes nearly 30 years of study and research, writing and art directing the Official Polyvagal Posters with Stephen W. Porges, PhD, architecting the first comprehensive autonomically-informed diagnosis and treatment platform on earth, and being the lead teacher of a global Polyvagal study group with 5000 clinician members. He is exceptionally good at working with the autonomic nervous system in real time. He’s also very straightforward when his expertise is not a good match for what you’re trying to change.

“I teach people how to connect (and re-connect) with themselves, one another, and the Living World, and I build and create things that foster the proper intuitions of relatedness. ”

The Hearth Science autonomics clinic is a neuro-transformation clinic that centralizes autonomics in the diagnosis and treatment of stress-related disorders, and engages in depth neuro-transformational work with individuals and groups. We are frequently consulted about complex neurological issues that have an autonomic component, including various kinds of autonomic dys-regulation, dysautonomias, various kinds of trauma and complex trauma exposures, and neurological issues with balance and proprioception. Many people referred to us on the healing side of our work have consulted with numerous neurologists, or been repeatedly told that there is no treatment for their symptoms.
We do not treat complex chronic illness or auto-immune issues, but we will provide consultation about them and can direct you to appropriate referral partners including our partners at Gordon Medical Associates, founded by our colleague Eric Gordon, MD, who runs a practice in San Rafael, California focused on unraveling complex chronic illness with whom we consult as adjunct (typically these diagnoses are complex intersections of autonomic, immunological, and endocrine systems, and in those situations we are adjunct to primary care, but not the treatment home.)
If you’re interested in a consultation with the Autonomics clinic, which is the first step in a prospective clinical engagement with us, please fill out the form below. Initial consultations are typically 30 minutes, and we charge a flat rate of $500, unless you are seeking consultation only (not treatment), in which case we can consult for any duration and charge at our hourly rate of $1000 per hour. In the form below, let us know if your goal is simply to have an additional perspective or neurological consultation, or whether you’re hoping to work one-on-one with Gabriel.
After the initial consultation, if we believe there is a good fit, and we believe we can help you, we will design a treatment framework. In most cases, we work with with people every other week for 45 to 90 minutes per session for a mutually-agreed upon duration.
Gabriel is the Founder of Hearth Science, the Developer of Autonomics, and the principal architect of the Autonomic Compass: an autonomically-informed diagnostics and treatment software platform that we built from scratch. He is the author of 14 books about the autonomic nervous system, trains healing arts practitioners around the world, and teaches and lectures internationally.
